As you know, finding an educational and engaging program for the men and women on your base can be difficult because you have single individuals, people in committed relationships who are not married, and you have married couples. One of the best aspects of the “Can I Kiss You?” program and Mike Domitrz’s approach is “Asking First”, “Opening a Door,” and “Being a Friend” works no matter what kind of a relationship you are in or are not in.

Recently, the column “Dear Amy” in the Chicago Tribune responded to a question from a survivor of sexual assault. Upon receiving a great deal of negative comments about her response to the column (as you can read on their site), “Dear Amy” printed another column responding to her original response. Working with the military has always been a great honor for everyone here at The Date Safe Project Inc (DSP). When it comes to addressing sexual assault (education, prevention, and supporting survivors), a lot of passionate and caring individuals are making positive changes for our men and women in the US military. We have always felt blessed to work with the SARC (Sexual Assault Response Coordinator), Advocates, Leadership, and the caring men and women at each military installation.
